Since Vivienne joined the Board of Directors at the Florence Arts Centre we have seen our income more than double and in 2016 we are on track to be even more successful. Having someone of this calibre on our committee has helped us move forwards and we are now feeling confident at being able to become financially secure from new initiatives and business opportunities. As a not-for-profit organisation the more income we can generate means we are able to develop the centre into a real hub that supports all the arts in west Cumbria for a long time to come.
On a daily basis Vivienne line manages our new Building and Marketing Manager and is constantly marketing and overseeing our events programme which is growing significantly. Florence Arts Centre is now attracting lots of talented performers from around the UK and beyond. There is still a lot of work to be done, but we all feel confident that we are on the right track.
